I have never worked with a Graphic Designer. How does this work?

Don’t worry! Before we start our project we walk you though. the entire process to ensure you feel comfortable and confident moving forward. Many of your detailed questions may be answered within these FAQs. If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch – we are really only a email away and we can chat over the phone! Once we have our project under way we will be there to guidance the whole time.

I’m not sure if I need a designer. Is it really worth the investment?

Oh yes it is! We are not just saying that – we honestly feel that professional, experienced graphics designer have a wealth of knowledge and experience that DIY’ers just don’t have. Here are some home truths – how many ugly websites have you visited and turned away from? How many logos that are dysfunctional are in your neighbourhood, online and across social media? How many awful many Instagram accounts have you seen and quickly left, never thought of it again? Probably too many to think about. It’s because a serious business invests in the right areas of their business to give it the best shot of growing and being successful.

So yes, it is worth the investment!

How will I know if we are a good fit?

We love working with all sorts of small business owners and our process is adaptable to lots of different businesses. We also know that our style isn’t a perfect fit with everyone. That’s why we suggest browsing through our portfolio to ensure your vision and our style is a good match. If you’re not interested in doing any homework, working to a timeline and collaborating with a designer we will not be a good fit.

How does payment work?

We have spent so much time invoicing and following up payments and it takes so much time away from what we really love doing. SO for a difference all our design services are available via a “store” front where payment is taken up-front. If you have any questions or concerns before purchasing, please email us and we can chat it all our over the phone. We want you to feel confident in choosing us as your design company.

Will you assist with the printing process?

Yes! We are more then to happy to help you with the printing process to ensure you final product is exactly what we imagined. We have a handful of printers that we love working with we can recommend to you they range in prices and services. If you have a go-to printer you’d like to use for your project, We will happily to work with them as well.

How many revisions do I get?

All our services have a set of revisions are included in their description, which is usually 3. This helps us keep focus and be time-efficient. Additional revisions beyond what is agreed upon will be billed at my hourly rate but we will flag that with you if it looks like we’re are heading that way!

When can we get started?

Contact us to find out! We will always try to help you meet your personal or marketing deadlines. However, when we can start the design process all depends on you and your project and how far out our project schedule is booked. But the sooner you can get in touch, the better!

Why not just a logo?

Yes a logo is very important part of your visual identity, your visual brand needs and deserves more. You brand needs depth, just like you have depth, your visual identity should be versatile and give you library of design elements that will keep things interesting and fresh for both you and your clients. That’s why all our branding packages include not only a logo, but logo variations, fonts, patterns and colours and a style guide.

Should I invest in professional photography for my project?

Yes! Using professional photography can and will make a big difference in your marketing and help bring you to another level. We can help you by putting you into contact with some fantastic photographers if you’d like to have your own photos taken or we can have some stock image resources of you’d like to purchase image for your marketing use. (Always do you homework and check our the photographers portfolio before hiring them to be sure the style suits you).

What if I don’t like the concept designs you’ve created for me?

We are here for you please don’t panic we want to help you achieve the best results possible.We want to hear all your feedback so if you don’t like it please say so and be specific in your feedback and we will give it another go.

Can I get my money back if I choose to go elsewhere?

We need to address this request case-by-case but generally we would charge for work that we have completed to date and refund the rest. Hopefully this won’t happen though!

We find the best way to communicate is through email. It helps us keep everything organised and in one place and will keep you updated with each step of the design process.
